There are some people whose meal is not complete without meat. Yet doctors advise them to avoid red meat. So their hope lies in chicken and fish preparations. That is meat without the side effects of red meat.Some day, try baked-breasted chicken. It does not take long to prepare. An additional plus point with this dish is that it can be had with garlic or tomato sauce which adds to its nutritional value.

Baked Breasted Chicken

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

One kilogram of chicken pieces or boneless pieces

One Maggie cube (soaked in two tablespoon of mineral water)

Crushed black pepper

One tablespoon low fat yoghurt

One teaspoon ginger garlic paste

A few mint and cilantro leaves

Few chopped curry leaves

One green chilli

One lemon

One cup of oats powder

A teaspoon of roasted garam masala

Make a green chutney by chopping mint, cilantro leaves, curry leaves and green chilli in one teaspoon of curd and keep it aside.

Method:

First of all, wash chicken pieces and keep in the strainer to eliminate excess water. Then apply cuts.

Marinate it with the masalas and green chutney and keep it for half an hour.

Then in a deep bowl pour oats powder, add salt and pepper to it.

Now one by one, dip chicken pieces into it and place it in a baking dish.

Bake or roast it. You could also open fry it.

Enjoy it with garlic and tomato sauce.
