Minapa sunni

Minapa sunni

Minapa sunni is rich in protein and iron. One ball per day, especially for growing children, will keep them healthy and fit. This was my grandmother's favourite sweet and loved by most of the family.

What you need

Urad dal – 1 cup

Powdered jaggery – 11/4 cups

Ghee – 4 tbsp

Cooking instructions

Dry roast the urad dal on a low flame till it turns deep brown.

Grind to a fine powder in a mixie.

Add powdered jaggery and mix well.

Boil four tbsp of ghee and add to the mixture.

Make balls of the required size.
