Tinsel townies should know when to zip up and be politically correct. Last year would have ended on a sour note for two sets of people had it not been for some last-minute amendments. Firstly, Salman Khan said something obnoxious about the fate of Hrithik's “Guzaarish”. Remember Salman is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's blue-eyed boy? Possibly, he was celebrating the disaster since he was not part of the project and obviously Hrithik took umbrage. Not one to be quiet, (especially after two duds — “Kites” and “Guzaarish”), Roshan Jr. asked Salman not to gloat over “Dabanng”. Next, seeing the tepid response to “Tees Maar Khan”, David Dhawan gave it a thumbs down within earshot of a few Akshay loyalists. Promptly, Akshay threatened to withdraw from his son Rohit Dhawan's directorial debut “Desi Boyz”! Any guesses how the spats ended?
Friends and foes
There is fresh news on Shah Rukh-Salman spat. On Karan Johar's show this week, Shah Rukh confessed that he was not great at either making friends or keeping them, when Karan asked him about his friendship with Farah and Salman gone sour! SRK was admitted feeling lonely without friends, but confessed that he could not bring himself to picking up the phone and tying back the knot. While this is not the first time that SRK is mentioning Salman in public, Farah was a first. There had been rumours of a spat with Karan Johar too earlier. May be the host should have prodded him on that one too…
