Wildlife week at Ravindra Bharathi School

Wildlife week at Ravindra Bharathi School

Ravindra Bharati School celebrated Jungle Week for kindergarten children at its Dabagardens branch in the city. The students were made to dress up like different animals during the week-long programme. They acted out moral stories. Principal Bharathi said that the programme turned out to be very interesting for children who were introduced to different wild animals and their eating habits.

The Presidential School recently organised a teaching and learning programme -`”Each one-teach one.” The pupils of Std. VI involved a group of children from the Street Project taken up by Young Men's Christian Association on the beach road and taught them various activities like art work, music and personality development. According to Headmistress of the school Anand, it was the endeavour of the school to bring out the hidden talents of the street children by providing them the right platform to ensure a bright future for themselves.
