Rockwell International School celebrated its Annual Sports Day near

HITEC City. Tiny tots took part in 'Circuit Relay','Hurdles',

'Agility Run', 'Dog & Bone', 'Hoop Jump', 'Tug of War' and more fun

games. An impressive March Past and 'Umbrella drill' were also

presented by the children.

Even parents got a chance to join the children in 'Brick Walk with

Parents', 'Saves Trees' and other activities.

Mr. D. Suresh Babu, Managing Director of Suresh Productions, was the

chief guest. Mr. Subash Boda, Chairman and Managing Director of

Rockwell International School said overall development of the child is

of paramount importance at the school. "It is one of the core

principles of Rockwell International School," informed Mrs.

Subrahmanyam, principal of the school.

The students of LKG,UKG, Stds. I – III and VIII of Lotus Lap Public School helped the students of ZPHS, Malakpet and students of the Deaf and Dumb School, Pedda Amberpet, taking their Std.X exams by giving them new pads, pencils and other necessary stationery. M.E.O. Malakpet, Mr. B. Venkateshwarlu thanked the Lotus Lap Public School management for reaching out to the needy students. Director Ln. Komati Reddy Gopal Reddy of Lotus Lap Public School addressed the gathering. Children from Lotus Lap plan to celebrate their birthdays with the ZPHS students.

Tiny tots of the play school, Sister Nivedita , took part in a play at the annual cultural meet. Principal Mrs. Jayanthi Venkataraman presented the annual report. Chairman of the school management committee, Dr. P. Sudhakar Rao, stressed on the role of parents in grooming children. Mrs. Sujatha Raman, Consultant psychotherapist, KIMS, had a brief interactive session on “Good Parenting.”

Newgene Concept School, CBSE, Saidabad , hosted a mini science fair on the school campus. Mr. P. Banu Srinivas, scientist, was the chief guest and inaugurated the science fair. Circuits, charts on food chain and essential nutrients, computer hardware parts, measuring jars and tape and more were displayed by students. Models on physics and chemistry for practical understanding of topics such as relative density, conductors, and weights and measures too were displayed.
