Jain Heritage a Cambridge school Kondapur conducted an interschool literary competition - A Lingua Extravaganza. The chief guest was Mr. Vamsi Krishna, director of Vibha Seeds.
The Academic director Mrs. Lakshmi Rao gave the welcome address. Eight schools across the twin cities with around 80 students participated in the competitions, namely Newspaper Design 2020 for Std. VI and VII, and paper presentation (for Stds. VIII to XI). Delhi Public School, Diamond Point, Secunderabad won in both the categories.
Gitanjali Devshala, Balamrai, Secunderabad held a farewell party for the outgoing students of the Std. X batch of 2012 . “Hues of dawn”, the event conveyed the message that the completion of Std. X heralds the dawn of a new era.
The guests of honour were Ms.Shailaja Kiron, MD of Kalanjali and Margadarsi Chit Funds and proprietor of Brisah, and Mr.Yashwanth Thabakh, the owner of Mahavir Motors. The students of Std. IX put up dance performances and the school band performed some foot tapping numbers. The highlight of the programme was the Mr. and Ms. Gitanjali contest.
