At the end of the selection, 12 talented footballers will make it to a week-long training camp at Manchester United Soccer Schools.

The Airtel Rising Stars, an initiative by Bharti Airtel, in association with Manchester United, is a rigorous scouting programme that covered 16 cities across India and chose 12 talented footballers. They will get to attend a week-long training camp at Manchester United Soccer Schools.

Shortlist of the first:

Delhi : Agaiya Sharma, Kartikeya Swarup, Amit Dhankhar and Mukul Mohindra

Lucknow : Tenzing Bhutia, Shashank Kumar, Shivam Chandra, Sourabh Kumar

Jaipur : Digvijay Singh, Ishan Rozario, Shubham Sharma and Gajraj Singh

Shillong : Rimitre Thma, Synod Mihngi Jowai, Kyntiew Shaphrang Kharlukhi and Russel CL Nongkynrih

Ahmedabad : Madhurjya Mohan, Sheel Parikh, Yash Baid and Charmil Sachin Shah

Kolkata : Kaustav Chakraborty, Sharukh Hussain, Krishanu Santra and Abdul Halim

Mumbai : Ashish Sharma, Prathamesh Rokade, Porus Shroff and Aditya Mishra

Hyderbad : Maheshwar Reddy, Teja Pawan Kumar, Aamir Anwar and Naveen Kumar

Pune : Chirag Shahaney, Rushabh Dhere, Jordan Fernandes and Pratik Shinde

Chennai : Logesh Durai Raj, S. Vishal , P. Anand and S.Karthick

These players will participate in a six-day final selection trial in September in Bangalore.
