Vishal Naresh Kumar is nine years old and is from Jhajjar District, Haryana. He was in a bus returning from a temple when the tyres burst. The bus crashed into a seven feet deep valley and the lives of 17 passengers were in jeopardy. Vishal jumped off the bus seconds before the vehicle fell into the valley. Five passengers died in the accident and the remaining were left with severe injuries and little help. Vishal, though hurt, rushed to the nearby police station. On his way back, he stopped a van and asked them to take the injured to the nearby Alvar Hospital. At another hospital in Rajgarh he stayed with another wounded passenger for four hours. Despite losing his mother, he remained calm and composed throughout the ordeal
