Corn canapes
Ingredients
(Quantity has not been mentioned. You can use ingredients according to your preference.)
> Ready made canapés
> Sweet Corn
> Onion – finely chopped
> Tomato – finely chopped
> Cucumber – finely chopped
> Pomegranate /pineapple/ apple (optional) – finely chopped
> Coriander leaves – finely chopped
> Sev
> Oil to deep fry
For dressing
> Jeera powder
> Chaat masala
> Sweet chutney/imli- dates chutney
> Chopped chilli/pepper powder/ red chilli powder
> Lemon juice
> Salt
Method
Cook corn in microwave or cooker. When it cools, slice off the kernels with a knife.
Meanwhile deep fry canapés until they turn crisp. Follow the instructions on the pack. Alternatively you can bake them too. Drain and store in air tight container.
Filling
For dressing:
Mix together lemon juice, salt, red chilli powder, sweet chutney, jeera powder and chaat masala.
Add onion, cucumber, carrot, tomato, pomegranate and boiled corn to the dressing.
Toss gently to blend the dressing and vegetables.
Serving
Arrange the canapés in a plate, fill the canapés with a spoon of corn filling.
