Proud to be an Indian

Things that make me proud to be an Indian:

Living in a democratic country, though it may be chaotic; an emerging global economic, scientific and technological super power; diverse environment; culturally vibrant; ihe Indian Armed forces; the Indian joint family system; and the desire for education.

P. Madhu Kumari, VII, Indo English High School, Khammam

I am proud to have been born in a country where many great leaders like King Ashoka, freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad were also born. India is called the cradle of civilisation and is also the place where many religions originated. In our country, people have the right to speak their mind and also do what they want.
