Patience

September 10, 2012 06:47 pm | Updated 07:05 pm IST

When I was in Std IV, my mom had gone for a check up. I was used to having a cup of tea in the evening. That evening I was dying for a cup but I did not know how to make it. I saw my sister Amana in the kitchen, asked her make me a cup of tea but she ignored me. I was annoyed. I lit the stove and I pressed the hot gun on her hand. She cried out aloud but she did not retaliate. Looking back, I am amazed at her patience.
