Panda dreams

April 15, 2013 04:01 pm | Updated 04:29 pm IST

I walked through the woods breathing in the fresh chilly morning air. Robert Frost’s poem ‘Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening’ came to my mind.

Just then, I heard a sweet and lovely voice. It was coming from the bamboo thicket in the north of the woods. I was attracted to the voice. I walked by the lilac flowers and roses towards the thicket.

The music had a magnetic effect on me “Whose divine voice is this?” I thought.

When I reached the thicket, what I saw was strange — a giant singing panda! I burst out laughing and laughed till I found myself on the floor of my bedroom. I realised that I had been dreaming.

But I heard the same music again. I jumped and turned around to find my sister singing while trying to find her record book.
