No! Don’t drink that!” screamed the woman running toward us from a dark room behind the shop. But we had been waiting so long. We were tired and thirsty. She screeched to a halt when she saw us wiping our mouths in satisfaction. Her eyes grew big with horror. She stared at us and then at the empty bottle and ran out.
We looked at each other and realised the reason for the woman’s reaction. We were shrinking!
The kitchen looked huge and the massive table held a feast fit for a king. We saw a small kettle filled with cool and clean water. We had some and were about to run when suddenly, thick smoke appeared out of the kettle. A witch appeared. Beside her was the woman we had met earlier.
The witch cackled and trapped us in a glass bottle. She closed the lid and put us on the table. We tried our best to escape, but our efforts were in vain. Then my little sister had an idea. She suggested that we push the bottle off the table to make our escape. We pushed it with all our might. It fell down and broke.
And then, I woke up. It was all a dream!
