Preserve nature

January 26, 2010 06:56 pm | Updated 06:56 pm IST

Today, there are not many plants or soil or water. This is because we are not looking after them. In ancient times we had them in abundance. We can do that again.

We can solve this problem by the following things — Planting at least three saplings a month; Don't uproot plants. If you do, then plant two in its place. These are some of the tasks we can follow.

Talking about today's soil, we don't see it because it is covered by concrete. What we can do is not cover the soil with concrete. Tell your friends and relatives to do the same.

Even water has become scarce now. It is not available because we are cutting down trees and also because we are dumping sand into rivers and ponds.
