BGS drama fest

Brahma Gana Sabha will be conducting the Nalli annual Aadi Naataka Vizha at Dakshinamurthy Hall (P.S.H.S. School) from today (July 23) to August 1.

The festival will be inaugurated by R. Krishnaswamy, secretary, Narada Gana Sabha, and presided over by Nalli Kuppusami Chetty. A. Natarajan, former director, Doordarshan Kendra, Chennai, will felicitate the performing troupes. This will be followed by a Tamil play, ‘Thanimai,' by KREA, USA, at 7 p.m.

The following is the list of plays to be staged during the fest at 7 p.m. daily.

July 24: Marina's ‘Oor Vambu';

July 25: Kathadi Ramamurthy's ‘Neenga Yaar Pakkam?';

July 26: Koothabiran's ‘Kasikku Pona Ganapathy';

July 27: Gurukulam's ‘Yaadhumagi Nindrai';

July 28: Vaadhyar Raman's ‘Dhigil';

July 29: Kovai Paddhu's ‘Pavithra';

July 30: Amirtham Gopal's ‘Lakshmanan Kodu';

July 31: Rail Priya's ‘Enakkul Iruvar' and

August 1: Maapillai Ganesh's ‘Mama Mapplae.'

The entry for all the above performances is free.
