Member of Parliament Kanimozhi was spotted at the concert of ace singer Sanjay Subrahmanyan at Narada Gana Sabha on Monday evening. “It was not merely a concert. It was an experience,” she gushed.
The MP seems to have particularly liked the Ragam-Tanam-Pallavi presented by Sanjay. “He sang the pallavi in different ragas, each sounding so beautiful. The violinist, Varadarajan, was outstanding and the percussionists Neyveli Venkatesh and S. Karthik were brilliant too.” Ms. Kanimozhi said she also enjoyed Sanjay's rendition of Bharathiyar's ‘ kani nilam vendum '. “When he sang it, it was truly moving!”
