Jazz up the evening

October 20, 2009 07:24 pm | Updated 07:24 pm IST

A quiet evening of jazz is just what you need to unwind after all the rush and commotion of diwali. And the Alliance Française of Madras, in association with Exodus, is bringing together two jazz musicians on October 24, at 7.30 p.m., at Rhapsody, Courtyard by Marriot.

Matthew Littlewood is a saxophonist, pianist and composer who released his first album titled ‘Glass Eye’ in 2003, while Holger Jetter is a composer and producer who has toured with several artists such as Constantin Wecker, Joan Baez and Mercedes Sosa. Children below 18 years will not be permitted inside. Closed shoes are mandatory, as club rules apply at Rhapsody. For more details, call 28279803/ 28271477.
