The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) here is taking various steps to prevent impersonation at entrance examinations and make selection process transparent.
Already the institute was taking fingerprints of candidates intending to take entrance examination at the time of submitting application forms and writing entrance test, JIPMER sources said.
Four students had allegedly committed impersonation at the MBBS entrance test in June, the sources said. Details of students appearing for tests would be computerised from next year, they said.
