On successful completion of the course, Jawaharlal Nehru University will award the B.Tech. degree. The cadets will be commissioned as sub-lieutenants in the pay scale of Rs.15,600-Rs.39,100. Promotion up to the post of commander is on a timescale basis and thereafter on a selection basis subject to service condition.
