Sri Sumukhi Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation (SRMF) celebrates 11th year Margazhi Bala Utsavam.
Competitions such as Bharatanatyam, keerthanai, bhajan, Thirupaavai, Thiruvempaavai, instrument, maa kolam , flower kolam , painting, craft work, mehandi , handwriting, essay writing, oratory, story telling, fancy dress and slokam (participatory event) will be conducted for different age groups. Participants will be awarded with participation certificate and winners will be given medals, prizes and special prizes. Traditional attire is mandatory. Final competitions will be conducted from Jan. 5 to 10, 2013.
Registration, which is already on, will be closed on December 30. Registration can be made on weekends and festival holidays. A fee of Rs. 50 will be charged for each contest.
