Ranjith has turned his living room into a photo gallery, displaying his collection of faces from many streets of the world. A resident of Velachery, who was born and raised in Kerela and educated in Tamil Nadu, Ranjith Krishnan loves to travel, largely to indulge his passion for street photography. He hosts mini photo exhibitions. Can you guess where? In his living room. “It creates a friendly atmosphere for me to discuss my travels and photos,” he says.

Ranjith gives away some of his photos, especially to people and organisations engaged in community service. “My photos are hanging on walls of houses in different countries and that gives me immense satisfaction,” he says.

Ranjith is an engineering graduate with a BE computer science degree.

“When I was in college, I used to design, but I realised that was not my cup of tea,” he says.

Ranjith is grateful to a fellow traveller, who is from Germany. She has been a great source of encouragement to Ranjith in his mission to captures faces from the streets of the world.
