Age is not holding back this nonagenarian. He has written several books on astrology and is in the process of writing one more. S. Natarajan (94), known as ‘Nakkeerar’ Natarajan among a coterie of astrologers, begins his day at 4 a.m., goes for a walk and visits a nearby temple. The fitness routine takes an hour, after which he takes a dietary breakfast and immerses himself in the world of astrology. He is surrounded by books on the subject.
His clients reach him on his mobile, which he barely manages to operate. It does take long to see his mind is not wired into the electronic technology.
A diploma holder in engineering, he was drawn to astrology at 28. From then on, he has been a student of astrology.
He is a life member of Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS) and attends seminars and conferences throughout the country.
He has been contributing to the pages of a vernacular magazine for the past 20 years. He has a message for youngsters, “Be active, read a lot, make books your companions and serve society.”
