If Barney Stinson is to be believed, then anyone who doesn’t play Laser Tag, is bound to be a loser.

Now, for those who don’t know Barney Stinson, he is a legendary character played by Neil Patrick Harris in the show How I Met Your Mother. Barney has made awesomeness a continuous state of being and bestowed on us some epic quotes that can help us wade through life. So if he says, Laser tag is the best thing that has happened to mankind then people ought to believe it.

Having said that, Laser Tag arenas aren’t common here. But they are coming up. The latest one is G Sector, a Laser Tag Gaming Arena in Nungambakkam.

Here, people can pretend to be in a war.

“Girish Subash is an avid traveller and witnessed the huge popularity of lazer tag abroad. Since there weren’t many options here, he decided to launch G Sector,” says Roshni Hemdev, a member of the team.

On the arena, she says, “It is a 600-700 sq. ft. arena, where two teams fight for around 10 minutes. There are neon lights everywhere, with barricades, which make the players feel they are in a real battlefield. Apart from this, there are also flats screens where people can play video games.”

She also adds that Nungambakkam is an apt location for Laser Tag facility as it is well-connected and enables people from all parts of the city to come there.

Around 12 people can play at the same time. G Sector is located at No 15/15, Second Floor, Kakani Towers, Khader Nawaz Khan Road, Nungambakkam.
