Café Coffee Day along with Trinayani, a non-profit organisation working towards creating awareness on disability issues, will host a series of sessions called ‘the difference is in knowing’ on the occasion of World Disability Day (December 3).

The sessions will involve talks by individuals with disabilities and fun sign language sessions by deaf instructors and sign language interpreters.

The aim of the exercise is to generate curiosity towards individuals with differing abilities and erase preconceived notions about disabilities.

The sessions will be conducted at two CCD outlets in the city between December 3 and 5 — Adyar CCD, Number 64, First Avenue, Indira Nagar from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and KNK CCD, No. 8/A, Shafi Mohammad road, Thousand Lights, from 11 a.m. till noon.
