He worked for about 500 films as the dubbing artiste and lent his voice to several veteran south Indian actors like Gemini Ganesan.

Condoling the death of Sarma, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said he had a gifted voice that made him work for 500 films as a dubbing artiste, according to a state government release.

Actor-turned-politician and former Union Minister Chiranjeevi called on Sai Kumar and consoled him.
