Kannan 1 Kadhali 2

Producer Bhairav has ventured into a unique film where the protagonist, played by him, falls in love with two girls at the same time. While the girls are unaware of the situation, the hero gets ensnared in the grip of one and has to, willy-nilly, ignore the other. But, his roving eye attracts the attention of a third girl, creating more chaos in his life. “I have always been passionate about the movie industry. A few of my friends and relatives pitched in to produce this film, Kannan 1 Kadhali 2. Director A. Gopalaswamy has scripted this hilarious as well as message-driven flick. Monika and Bhargavi play the two heroines,” says Bhairav.

Taking wing

After entering the industry as a child artiste, playing junior to heroes such as Jiiva, S. P. Charan, Raghuvaran and Vikram (in Anniyan ), Viraj now graduates to his first adult role under the direction of S. Gopalakrishnan in Mozhivathu Yathenil ( MY ). “My character in MY is such that every time a serious situation arises, the scenario turns comical. It is a story of friendship and sacrifice, and in the last 20 minutes of the film, the strong bond between my character and that played by Rajan will be the highlight,” says Viraj.

Master every move

With the premise that life is like a game of chess, first-time director Vinod has set out to make Sathuranga Vettai. The underlying message is one should not get blinded by offers that promise to double one’s investments, without checking the authenticity of such deals. “ Sathuranga Vettai is a con movie that shows every relationship, be it between brothers, friends or associates, is purely based on money. There is no value for people, or their integrity,” says Vinod. Sathuranga Vettai stars Natarajan ‘Natty’ Subramaniam and Ishara.
