LAUNCH Audio release of "Avan Ivan"

The audio of “Avan Ivan”, presented by AGS Entertainment and produced by Kalpathi S. Agoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh, was released recently.

Directed by Bala, the film stars Arya, Vishal, Janani Iyer, Madhu Shalini and G.M. Kumar. Cinematography is by Arthur A. Wilson and editing is by A. Sreekar Prasad.

Suriya and Reema Sen are believed to have cameos. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music while Na. Muthu Kumar has penned the lyrics.

There are five songs in the album. In Haricharan's voice comes the impressive ‘Rasathi'. Suchitra has lent her voice for two lines in ‘Dia Dia Dole', a number comprising mostly different kinds of beats.

Vijay Yesudas touches the heart in ‘Oru Malayoram', along with baby Priyanka, baby Srinisha and baby Nithyashree, participants of ‘Super Singer Junior'. Vijay Prakash's ‘Mudhal Murai' is another good number. ‘Avanapathi', sung by T.L. Maharajan and Sathyan, has a rural flavour.

Soorya Nagaram

A.V. Screens presents “Soorya Nagaram”, produced by X.B. Rajan. It's directed by Ma. Sellamuthu, who was an associate to directors P. Vasu and Kayaar. The film stars Rahul (“Moscovin Kaviri”) and Meera Nandhan in the lead. Director R.V. Udhaya Kumar plays a villain in the film.

The film's director says the film revolves around Madurai. “Madurai has different names, and one is Soorya Nagaram. I have woven a love story with a rural touch,” he says.

The songs are written by Vairamuthu, and the music is composed by Fen Viallee, from the Trinity College of Music.

The audio of the film was launched recently.

There are five numbers in the film. ‘Selladhae Jeevanae' is the best, sung by S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and K.S. Chitra.

It's been sung by the music director himself again, to the accompaniment of piano and other instruments. ‘Kalyaanamaam' is a good one sung by Karthik.

‘Unnai Privena' is a pleasing duet by Chinmayi and Karthik.

This also comes in an instrumental version by Kamlakhar and Fen Viallee. Another pleasant song is ‘Manmatha Kadhal' sung by Sujatha Mohan and Karthik. Chinmayi's voice does not quite lend itself well to the seductive number ‘Kichu Kichu'.
