The melodious ‘Kadellam’ is well sung by Frango and Madhanki, while ‘Vaa Vaa’ sung by Haricharan has impressive lyrics. The enjoyable ‘Chennai Enbathu’, sung by Shankar Mahadevan, wraps up the album.

What they say…

Producers Durga Prabhu, Ramesh Ethiraja, Pavesh V. Jain, T. Nedumaran, R. Senthil Kumar: Despite our diverse business interests, we decided to produce Eeraveyil together as the subject appealed. Director A. K. Michael’s screenplay was also impressive.

Director A. K. Michael: I started my career as a still photographer and worked on seven films. I was the art director of 16 films. It was my roommate Durga Prabhu who helped me with the script for my first foray as a director and I am happy with the outcome.

Hero Aryan Rajesh: I am the eldest son of veteran Telugu filmmaker EVV Sathyanaraya. I have played the lead roles in 14 Telugu films and my first Tamil film is Album . I am playing the lead in Eeraveyil . When director Michael narrated the story to me, I was delighted that he had chosen me for the main role.

Music director Jassie Gift: I started my career with the rock band ‘Mobidick’ as a keyboard player and later as a vocalist. My first film was 4 the People in Malayalam, which was later dubbed into other south Indian languages. I have scored the music for 16 Telugu, 15 Malayalam and 20 Kannada movies and this is my fourth Tamil movie after Thee Nagar and Pattalam . I am pursuing my doctorate in Indian Philosophy and have sung in 350 films in all the south Indian languages. The story of Eeraveyil gave me an opportunity to compose some melodious numbers.
