Aadi and Sanvi in 'Pyar Mein Padipoyane'

Concept: A campus love story with music as its USP. The protagonist leads a musical band with a dream to create a unique fusion album. In the process, he not only falls in love with his music but also with the lead singer in his troupe.

Director’s take: The story is set on a campus where Aadi with his friends forms a music band. Sanvi, also from the same college, joins them as the lead female singer. The troupe is determined to help Aadi achieve his long cherished goal of creating a greatest love album. Though highly talented, they soon realise that it is not an easy task because of the odds placed against them. How the hero crosses these hurdles to succeed in his goal and also in his love life is narrated in an absorbing manner. Apart from the Lovely (their previous film together) pair, Aadi and Sanvi, Anup’s music rocks.

Till now I have made message oriented movies and for the first time I am coming up with a full fledged youthful love story with the sole purpose of providing wholesome entertainment. To add to the fun we have such popular actors as Ali, Kasi Viswanath, Duvvasi Mohan, Prithvi, Sathya Krishna, Sandhya Jhanak in the cast. T. Surender Reddy helmed the cinematography and K.V. Krishna Rao edits.

Producer K.K. Radhamohan has a penchant for making clean and wholesome family entertainers (his productions include Yemaindi Eevela and Adhipathi). When you have such tasteful producer who loves movies supporting you, the director gets motivated (smiles).

Progress: Now in its second and final schedule, the movie’s shoot is being held at various locations in Hyderabad (this conversation took place on Jan 8 when the director was shooting a key scene on the hero and his band at Rain Pub in Banjara Hills). The unit will thereafter leave for a scenic location to film the remaining two songs. The movie will hit the theatres during the summer months.
