Short film competition for blood donation awareness

The www.friends2support.org holds a National Short Film Competition on Voluntary Blood Donation to promote the concept of blood donation among youth. The organisation, in association with National Blood Transfusion Council (NBTC, Union Ministry of Health), announced the competition with a prize money of Rs.1.75 lakh.

The programme has been launched in eight States including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharastra, Kerala, Delhi, Tripura and Assam.

If the film is produced in any language other than English, the filmmakers need to subtitle them in English.

Participants need to apply online at http://www.friends2support.org/shortfilm/ and send a DVD to the address mentioned in the website. The short films can be either digital animation films or ordinary films with or without audio.
