Actor Shahid Kapoor has began working on his next collaboration with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj — Rangoon .
The film, a period drama, will see the 34-year-old actor teaming up for the first time with Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan.
Shahid earlier revealed his new heavily bearded look was for his role in the love-triangle.
“Time to prep for #Rangoon. Miles to go before I sleep Keep it real you all. And believe. Because you can,” Shahid tweeted.
The actor has kept mum on the details of his character, saying it was not the right time to talk about it.
Rangoon is Shahid’s third on-screen outing with Vishal after 2009’s Kaminey and last year’s Haider , both of which are considered the actor’s career-defining movies.
