Whether it’s collaborating with experimental pianists or running through eight-hour long sets, BLOT! is prepared to take it all on. For his set at Liquid Bar, Hyatt Centric, Malaker says he always keeps things interesting for himself by not planning too ahead in advance. He says, “My sets are almost never planned in advance — they are extempore and depend on my reading of the room. Bangalore audiences are very responsive and that makes for a much better understanding between artiste and audience, and as a result, a much better show overall.”
