Anjali Prabhala from Dallas, USA gave a concert for Vignana Samithi, accompanied by N.C. Ananthakrishna (violin) and Ramanujapuram Srikanth (mridangam) at Shilparamam. Known for her rich manodharma,

Anjali began with Ata tala varnam Vanajakshi Ninne Kori by Pallavi Gopala Iyer in Kalyani raga, in two speeds. She then presented Dikshitar’s Vallabha Nayakasya in Begada, in Rupaka talam followed by Tyagaraja’s Entha Muddo, Entha Sogaso in Bindumalini, Sachamara Ramaa Vaani of Muthiah Bhagavathar in Hamsanandi, Raga Sudha Rasa of Tyagaraja in Andolika, Sri Kamakoti Peetha Sthithey of Mysore Sadasiva Rao in Saveri, Kandarpa Janaka in Raga Valaji, Tunga Teera Virajam in Salaga Bhairavi.

The concert concluded with Lalgudi's Thillana in Ragesri.
