Jazz musicians Kirtana Krishna and Sankarshan 'Shanks' Kini reside in Auroville.

Adishakti will present ‘All The Things That You Are’, an evening of jazz, on Sunday featuring two accomplished Auroville-based musicians.

Sankarshan 'Shanks' Kini is a composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist with Hindustani Classical training and eight years of experience in the Mumbai music industry, during most of which he was a guitarist in Kailash Kher's rock group Kailasa .

He has composed background scores for film and theatre.

He currently resides in Auroville, where he studies and performs jazz (on guitar) and Western classical on viola.

Kirtana Krishna is a vocalist, guitar player and songwriter/arranger from Bengaluru, who also now resides in Auroville, where she continues her study of jazz on guitar.

She passed out of the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in 2013.

Kirtana has since taught music and been a part of several ensembles in her pursuit for all things jazz.

She has also worked with the Adishakti Theatre Company as a musician and teacher.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Entry is free.
