Vijay’s ‘Thalapathy 64’ adds Andrea Jeremiah, Gouri G Kishan to cast
The Lokesh Kanagaraj film will start shooting in Delhi, and is touted for a April 2020 release
Even as the Vijay and Atlee film Bigil continues to take in the profits (some reports read that the Deepavali release has collected over 250 crores already), the shooting of the actor’s next film with Kaithi director Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to start in Delhi.
Tentatively titled Thalapathy 64, the film, touted to be an action-thriller already announced some of the important cast members in Malavika Mohanan, Jallikattu actor Antony Varghese, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj as well as Vijay Sethupathi who is expected to play the main antagonist.
Now, it has been revealed that the mega-starrer has other important roles, which will be played by the likes of Andrea Jeremiah, Gouri G Kishan of 96 fame (she played the younger version of Trisha’s character Jaanu), as well as Tamil web series actor Brigida, who is known for her role in Aaha Kalyanam.
The release date for Thalapathy 64 has also been tentatively leaked: fans can expect a April 9 or 10 release in 2020. Produced by XB Film Creators, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander and the cinematography is by Sathyan Sooryan.
Meanwhile, on a side note, amidst massive speculation that Vijay’s Bigil director Atlee with team up with Shah Rukh Khan for a Bollywood film, news has arrived that the duo’s collaboration will be titled Sanki and will officially be announced on November 2: SRK’s birthday.
