Vijay Sethupathi reunites with Aishwarya Rajessh

Vijay Sethupathi's signing spree shows no sign of stopping. The actor, who has had two releases in 2019 — Petta and Super Deluxe , has a long line of films in various stages of production, including two Telugu projects and one in Malayalam. His upcoming film Sindhubaadh with Anjali is set to hit the screens on June 21.

Now, the ‘Makkal Selvan’ has now been announced to play the lead in a Kotapadi J Rajesh production, titled Ka Pae Ranasingam , where he will share screen space with Aishwarya Rajessh. The pair has collaborated in Rummy , Pannaiyarum Padminyum,Dharma Durai , and the unreleased Idam Porul Yaeval previously. Directed by debutant P Virumandi, Sethupathi plays the titular character, while Aishwarya plays the role of Ariyanachi. Virumandi, who was the co-director in Nayanthara’s Aramm , is the son of Periya Karuppu Thevar, the late character artiste.

Ka Pae Ranasingam ’s cast includes director Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Velu Ramamurthy and ‘Poo’ Ram. Actor-composer GV Prakash Kumar’s sister, Bhavani, is making her acting debut in the film. Touted to be an action-entertainer, the film’s stunt choreography is by Peter Hein, while Ghibran will score the music.
