After cancelling meetings with his fans last month, actor Rajinikanth is reportedly set to meet them from May 15.

Members of his fan clubs from various districts will get to meet the actor and take pictures with him here in the city.

When plans of his meetings with the fans emerged early in April, it had given rise to speculation that he was planning an entry into politics.

Rumours denied

However, members of his fan clubs dismissed the rumours and said that it was regular practice for the actor to meet his fans once every few years ahead of the release of a film.

However, in an audio message, the actor said that while he planned to take group photos with the members of fan clubs from each district, many of his fans expressed disappointment as they wanted individual photos with him which was not feasible. The meetings were then cancelled.
