The Arjun Reddy team did a number of things unconventionally, from its storyline, narration to run time (187 minutes). A small aspect of doing things their way included the design of the title with the name of the lead character in blood-red against a black background.

The euphoria surrounding the film that reached a crescendo just before its release refused to die down, as it opened to positive reviews. The film marked an impressive debut for director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and actor Shalini Pandey, cemented Vijay Deverakonda’s position as an actor to watch out for, and put the spot light on Rahul Ramakrishna (Arjun’s loyal friend), who is known in the short film circles ever since he featured in Tharun Bhacker’s Sainma .

The team was quick to tap the Arjun Reddy rage by launching a special font-generator app on actor Vijay Deverakonda’s official Facebook page, in partnership with ChaiBisket. Using the app, users can style their names in the red-black ‘Arjun Reddy’ font style and use it as their profile pictures. Within hours, one saw the red-black font display pictures all over Facebook and Twitter.

When contacted, team ChaiBisket stated that the idea stemmed just after the film’s release and the app was built within a day. Within 24 hours of the app’s launch, 5 lakh Arjun Reddy style names had been generated. The unprecedented response meant that the ChaiBisket server took a beating for a short while until the team restored it.
