Nag Ashwin, the director of Mahanati , has turned producer and his first film for Swapna Cinema is an entertainer starring Naveen Polishetty, Priyadarshi and Rahul Ramakrishna. Titled Jaathi Ratnalu , the film is written and directed by Anudeep K V and the shooting has been on for a while. The poster of the film has Naveen, Priyadarshi and Rahul in prisoners uniform with numbers 420,210 and 840 respectively. Naveen has had two good films to his credit this year, the Telugu comic-thriller Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya and the Hindi film Chhichhore . Rahul and Priyadarshi had come together for the dark comedy Brochevarevarura .
Jaathi Ratnalu will have music by Radhan and cinematography by Siddan Manohar. The rest of the cast includes Faria Abdullah, Murali Sharma, Naresh VK, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani and Vennela Kishore.
