Why should urban audiences have all the fun? That seems to be the thought behind EPIQ, India’s largest screen, which was launched at Sullurpet on Thursday.

At 100ft wide and 80ft height, the launch was attended by Telugu star Ram Charan, who checked out the visuals of the Saaho trailer and Sye Raa on the big screen. “I’m so happy looking at the grand visuals. I hope to watch Sye Raa here,” he stated.

Jayendra of Qube Cinemas, said that, “Even we didn’t realize how immersive it would be till we saw the product.”

The features include cutting-edge technology with high end laser projection, Dolby Atmos immersive audio and a flat (1.89) aspect ratio with a wall-to-wall 100 feet wide screen, 4K RGB laser projection, and Qube will create specially-mastered DCPs for select movies as well. The Premium Large Format with a new immersive cinematic experience is the first of its kind by an Indian brand.

Saaho starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor will be the first movie to be launched on EPIQ.
