The popular Jabardasth show on television has thrown up plenty of talent; we saw one of them play a hilarious role in F2 recently and this time Hyper Aadhi was given good footage in Mr Majnu that released last week. Hyper Aadhi isn’t just an actor known for his superb comedy timing, he is also a good writer. He not only writes all his skits for Jabardasth, but has also written dialogues for the Allari Naresh-starrer Meda Meedha Abbayi .

Though it takes people a long time to get recognition on the small tube and then move to cinema, it has been a swift journey for Hyper Aadhi. He moved to cinema and went on to work in films like Rarandoi Veduka Chooddam , Meda Medha Abbayi , Aatagadhara Siva , Tholi Prema and now Mr Majnu .

Though Aadhi gets flak for some of his TV skits as the dialogues border on vulgarity, many episodes of Jabardasth are trending with crores of views and some of them are on par with comedy scenes in movies. Speaking about the difference in working for TV and films, Aadhi says, “For cinema I write some ‘punch’ dialogues too and if the director is fine with it, I use it. In television I’m more energetic and I dominate the show for a full 15 minutes, but in cinema..the content is hero-related and we have our limitations.”

Aadhi’s father is also from the theatre. Aadhi was born in Ongole and did his B.Tech and left his comfortable job for acting. He was spotted in a short film and was given an opportunity in television and there has been no looking back ever since . He says firmly, “There was no way I could have got into films directly, they would have simply put my photographs aside. It is only because of Jabardasth , that I got a platform to show my talent. I am aware the show is not 100 percent perfect. There is a bit of negativity surrounding anything one does, but we have to focus on the good work and move on. Lot of people struggle to get a mannerism, brand value, body language and a style of their own with their first or second film. But I became ‘Hyper Aadhi’ even before getting into movies. I’ve done so much comedy that a writer has to work hard on giving something better than what I did.”

Aadhi constantly updates his content by keeping abreast with current affairs and trending topics. At home too, his presence is much sought after as he’s always entertaining everyone around. His next movie is Chitralahari that is releasing this summer.
