Dhanush and VetriMaaran’s superhit Asuran will be remade in Telugu — with actor Venkatesh!
The film will be produced by Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu under Suresh Productions and V Creations, respectively. The director of the film has not yet been announced, though it is not expected to be VetriMaaran who is busy adapting a poem into his next film starring Soori in the lead role. He also has the Vada Chennai sequel up next.
Asuran , which was based on the Tamil novel Vekkai, recently made news for grossing over 100 crores and Dhanush was praised for his exemplary performance.
Venkatesh is currently awaiting the release of his next Telugu film Venky Mama . He is also speculated to be in talks for a movie with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, that will be the Bollywood actor’s Telugu debut.
