The makers of Arjun Kapoor’s next film Mubarakan have released the first look of Anil Kapoor’s character in the film.
Anil plays a character named Kartar Singh, complete with a customary Sikh turban. The film brings to celluloid the real life chacha-bhatija of Bollywood for the first time.
Mubarakan will feature Arjun Kapoor in a double role as Karan and Charan. While Karan is free spirited, Charan is naive. Mubarakan is helmed by director Anees Bazmee, who has worked with Anil Kapoor in films like Welcome , No Entry , Andaz among others. Mubarakan is produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and is slated for release on July 28.
