Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi chatting about 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' in Delhi

Akshay Kumar was in the capital and he had the opportunity to talk about his coming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The 49-year-old actor took to Twitter to share a picture with the Prime Minister. “Met PM @narendramodi and got the opportunity to tell him about my upcoming ‘Toilet-Ek Prem Katha’,” wrote Akshay.

The national award-winning actor added that he was overjoyed when the title of the film brought a smile on Mr. Modi’s face. “His smile at just the title made my day!” he continued.

The film, directed by Shree Narayan Singh, is based on a love story against the backdrop of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. “Toilet...” also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Anupam Kher and Sana Khan.

The movie will hit the theatres on June 2.
