‘Adho Andha Paravai Pola’ teaser: Amala Paul on the run again

With a series of intriguing visuals, the actor’s next after ‘Aadai’ promises to be another woman-centric thriller, this time set in a jungle

Music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal released the teaser of Amala Paul’s next film Adho Andha Paravai Pola on Wednesday.

Billed as an adventure-thriller, the plot is about a a young lady who takes on a wild forest and even wilder humans, and how she escapes against all odds while encountering interesting, sometimes dangerous characters and episodes.

 

After Amala’s Aadai which created a lot of debate, this is yet another solo-heroine vehicle of sorts for the actor, who is the sole star in the film. Supporting actors include Ashish Vidayathi, Sameer Kochchar and others.

Set in a forest, the teaser shows Amala enounter a range of dire situations before getting trapped in quicksand, from which she is rescued by... Amala?

Though the teaser doesn’t reveal much, Adho Andha Paravai Pola — the title of which has been borrowed from the legendary MGR song —directed by Vinoth K.R, and produced by Century International Films, promises to be yet another welcome offering for fans of women-centric plots in Tamil cinema.
