Composer Santhosh Narayanan released a single track from Server Sundaram on Satrurday. Titled ‘Bro’, the lyrics of the song celebrate friendship and the song begins with the line ‘Thaai thandhai varisaiyele friendai vecha enna thappu’Talking about the title of the film, its director Anand Balki says, “We got the rights from AVM Productions who had the copyright for the 1964 K. Balachander film. But the process wasn’t an easy one. I had to submit the script, and after many meetings with AVM Saravanan, we got the permission. The similarity ends with the title,” says Balki.
