Actor/director Radhakrishnan Parthiepan has been roped in for playing a crucial role in in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s (GVM) upcoming Tamil spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram .

“Long time ago, when GVM had announced this film with Suriya, I was approached. Recently, I came to know that he will be doing the film with Vikram. As I was wondering if I am part of the project, GVM called me, and said, ‘ Neenga illama eppadi sir ?’ and further said that he had tweaked my role slightly,” says Parthiepan.

Parthiepan has also been roped in for GV Prakash’s yet-to-be-titled film, to be directed by choreographer Baba. “In that film, my role is somewhat similar to my role in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan . Not a negative role, but I play a Godfather, on the lines of Nayagan . I have also signed up for Bejoy Nambiar’s film starring Dulquer Salmaan,” he says.

Dhruva Natchathiram stars Vikram and Ritu Varma, and the shooting of the film is to commence in April. The film has music by Harris Jayaraj, and is gearing up for release in August.
