Raghava Lawrence is looking forward to his upcoming film Shivalinga . He was impressed with the Kannada original, and filmed the remake in just five months. “Even before the title card runs, the story begins, and sucks you into the narrative. Any actor who acts in a script like this is sure to give a hit. Being a horror-comedy, a genre I like, I decided to go in for a remake in Tamil,” says Raghava.

The choreographer-turned-actor plays the role of a CB-CID officer in the film. “In Shivalinga , I don’t appear in uniform, but only in trendy outfits.

P. Vasu has made his role suave and stylish, and the highlight would be my dialogue delivery during the interrogation scenes.

Talking about his experience of working with the veteran director, he says, “He is a stalwart and I was initially quite scared of him. But as shooting progressed, I became relaxed, and enjoyed the shooting days. Being a perfectionist, he would plan the schedules well and it was solely because of him that we wrapped up in just five months. The rapport and comfort level that I developed with him is the reason why the idea of a Mannan remake surfaced.”
