A movie without a message

Prashanth Pandiyaraj says his debut film, Bruce Lee, will have just one fight scene

For a film titled Bruce Lee, Prashanth Pandiyaraj is confident that his film needs just one fight in it, that too a comical one. He says his effort has been to make a spoof on Tamil films, where the audience longs for the heroism of the protagonist to be home-grown, while desiring Hollywood style effects in the brand of villainy.

“There is no message in Bruce Lee. The hero is a drifter with no ambitions. With a friend for company, he has his share of fun until a girl enters his life.”

Promising a fun experience for the growing number of G.V. Prakash fans, after the success of Trisha Illana Nayanthara , Prashanth says he penned the script with just him in mind.

“It would not have suited any other actor. G.V. is an actor who is still in the growing phase and he’s not averse to taking chances. He just focussed on enjoying himself during the shoot. If that reflects well on the big screen, it could have a huge say on the box-office result.”
