TRS chief names 10 more candidates

Danam, Malla Reddy, Mynampalli find place

Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K.Chandrasekhar Rao has announced the names of 10 more party candidates, taking the total number of nominees to 117.

Mr. Rao in a statement released on Wednesday night named Malkajgiri MP Chamakura Malla Reddy as the party candidate from Medchal constituency while party MLC and Greater Hyderabad party chief Mynampalli Hanumantha Rao got the Malkajgiri seat.

Warangal Mayor Nannapaneni Narender is the party candidate from Warangal West while Sanampudi Saidi Reddy, an NRI was preferred over Telangana martyr Srikantha Chary’s mother Shankaramma from Huzurnagar. Former Minister Danam Nagender was named as the Khairatabad candidate.

Other candidates

Denying the party renomination to Bodige Shoba, the TRS chief preferred Sonke Ravishankar in Choppadandi constituency. The other candidates are: Dr. Methuku Anand (Vikarabad), Kaleru Venkatesh (Amberpet), Prem Singh Rathod (Goshamahal), Mohammed Salahuddin Lodi (Charminar).

The party is likely to take a decision on the Kodad and Musheerabad constituencies in a day or two.
